Customised Hashtag strategy
This paper contains your customised hashtags strategy (recommended amount of hashtags to choose from each bracket) as well as tips on how to utilise hashtags most effectively. On the next pages, I'll provide you your own hashtag strategy for your Instagram account , as well as tips on how to improve your profile. My goal is to not just give you a list of hashtags, but also to show you how to use them effectively.Let's start with your custom hashtag approach. All of the hashtags that I have given you have been hand-selected depending on their performance.

hashtag analytics
Let's begin with your personalised hashtag strategy. All the hashtags I provide you with, are handpicked based on the analysis of their performance. When picking the right ones for you, I analyse two factors:1. Hashtag's relevance
2. Hashtag's competitivenessTo figure out the competitiveness, I analyse two criteria:• the average number of likes in the top section of each hashtag;• the number of posts being posted on a particular hashtag every single
day or hour (to make sure that your post will be seen by others).
Hashtag strategy example
Most users analyse hashtags based on their size (number of posts), but this makes no sense. Let me show you a quick example:#hashtag1 – hashtag size is 93k, and it has about 100 posts published daily using this hashtag (4 posts per hour)#hashtag2 – hashtag size is 282k, and it has about 110 posts published daily (5 posts per hour).\These two hashtags are equally competitive (100 and 110 daily postings), but #hashtag2 allows you to reach three times as many people because it is more searchable and useable. So, in your hashtags list, you've classified hashtags into three tiers of competition:Low competition – hashtags with less than four new posts per hourMedium competition – five to twenty-five new posts per hourHigh competition – more than twenty-six new posts per hour.Tip: You can assess the competitiveness of hashtags by visiting their sites, looking through some of the most recent posts in the 'Most recent posts' stream, and calculating the estimated number of posts uploaded hourly using the hashtags.
| Hashtags used in the post | Hashtags ranked for in the top 9 |
|---|---|

| 15 | 0 |
| 7 | 6 |
| 21 | 20 |

As you can see, utilising fewer hashtags on this account works better. Of course, it depends a lot on the content, but I feel there's a link between the number of hashtags you use and your positions.
The maximum amount of hashtags you may use in a single post is 30, and if you go over that, none of them will work.
You may have heard that in order to reach a larger audience, you must use all 30 hashtags on each of your posts. However, this is not the case. I've been working on a number of accounts, both my own and those of clients, and there's one thing you should know. There isn't a magic number of hashtags that will yield the best results. It just does not exist. What you should do is experiment with different hashtag amounts on your posts to see what works best for your account. For some people, 15-20 hashtags are more effective than 30.I'd recommend starting at this exact amount. It's unclear why Instagram considers the use of 30 hashtags to be spamming behaviour for some accounts. We have no way of knowing for sure.
So, I respectfully request that you experiment with various methods on your own; there is no magic rule! I recently conducted a quick test of my top-9 ranking and the quantity of hashtags I use. During the two weeks, 12 posts were published, and the following are the results. The diagram below will explain everything. Based on your account's performance, I strongly advise you to use the hashtags technique below:Sign up here if your account still needs to be reviewed.
